Application: All Front Steer Rack Mustang II Car & Truck IFS Kits

This new rack and pinion fits all Mustang II front steer car IFS units. There are early and late versions with different mount placement. You may need to remove and re-attach your crossmember mounts. Most later truck IFS kits typically require end spacers to adapt to the wider vehicles track. 2" & 4" rack end spacers are availble...please inquire. Rack is 46" from outer threaded rods tip to tip. 

This is a "bolt in" rack that with standard threaded ends that take M-II rod ends (like tie rod ends). Rod ends are available below. The steering input shaft is .9/16" 26 spline. It is a different spline count vs. the power rack. If converting from a manual rack to power you will need to swap out the U-joint that mates to the steering rod. Mounting hardware available below.
